We were beaten by a better side as lapses in concentration cost us dearly today.

We were made to pay early on, as we concede from a corner in the 2nd minute 0-1
We had our backs against the wall from then on as they created more chances but couldn't penetrate enough to score as the continued defensive partnership of Rob Orrell and Callum Pattison stayed solid throughout the half.

We barely created a chance in the first half as this game turned into a physical battle halfway through the half. Tackles were flying around as free kicks were coming thick and fast.
Our first registered shot coming just before half time from a Tom Ray free kick which was caught by the keeper.

4 minutes into the second half and a dodgy decision costs us dearly, as we concede a penalty for an apparent hand ball (top of shoulder) by Keenan Johnson. They convert the penalty to right of Jordan Mumford 0-2

They get the third on 69 minutes as we let them run through us 0-3

4 minutes later, they had scored again as we switched off yet again 0-4

Our best chance of the game so far came on 75 minutes, as Richard Nock drives over after a run by Mitchell Williams.
No more major chances come our way as half chances by Sam Cooke, Richard Nock and an acrobatic try from Rob Orrell did'nt cause much trouble for the keeper today.

They get their 5th and final goal 2 minutes before the end as we get caught short at the back 0-5

Our overall display wasn't too good today as we were just not on our game. Disappointing considering our last game!!!
We sat back too much today and let them come at us, causing us to commit less in attack.

Dec Dawn collected The Man of The Match trophy today with an impressive game at right back and Callum Pattison took home The Effort award (awarded by Owens mum)

We need to get this result out of our system as its Nott’s Cup next week, another week, another performance.

Let’s get our season back on track with a win next week lads!!!
