We don't have the best of starts on our first game on Chesterfields 3G pitch as they get the opener after 6 minutes. Volleying unmarked in the 6 yard box from a cross from the right 1-0
Keenan Johnson gets our first chance as he starts in midfield for the first time this season, but hits it wide of the target on 12 minutes.
Jack West tries a long shot after 20 minutes, but its straight at the keeper.
We get a corner just after the half hour mark. Tom Ray sending in a delightful ball just outside the 6 yard box, which Rob Orrell heads over. But now we are starting to control the game.
Great play by Jack West to find Darius Willetts run, who fires past the keeper to bring the game back level 5 minutes before the break 1-1
The game starts off a little slower than the first, as no team really gets a chance in the opening 10 minutes of the second half.
Jordan Mumford makes 2 great saves on the 52nd and 58th minutes to deny Chesterfield another lead.
But a minute later they take the lead again as we give the ball away far too easy in midfield and get caught out at the back for them to find the net 2-1
But within 60 seconds we had drawn level as Darius Willetts plays the ball forward for Mitchell Williams to send the ball over the keeper first time with an exquisite lob 2-2
Joe Crichton has the only half chance in the final 20 minutes as the game fizzles out and turns into a midfield battle.
A game which was not helped from the referee who didn't let the game flow as much as we would of liked.
Keenan Johnson taking The Man of The Match trophy home for the first time this season and Joe Crichton claiming the Effort Award (awarded by Owen's Mum)
Well done lads
